Adopt-a-street - Priory Road

The pictures below show residents - Fiona, Rosemarie and their children - working hard as volunteers to clear litter left by pedestrians on pavements and public footpaths in the areas surrounding Priory Road and the A30.

Litter-picking goes a long way! Rosemarie, a Priory Road volunteer says: “the ‘adopt-a-street’ scheme is a wonderful idea and we have had so much positive feedback from our neighbours...”

The Priory Road AAS group have been able to solve some long standing waste disposal issues along the A30 from Choo Choo Burgers to Priory Road.  A long standing eye sore of rubbish has been cleared, after the AAS team alerted the Borough's Streetcare services. Now revealed are the three beautiful trees that were previously masked by rubbish. Thank you to all involved.
