The Parish Council is rightly proud of its renovated recreation ground. A lot of people say it’s the best in the area.
The Teen Scene equipment for the over 12s is also proving a real attraction. A pod swing has just been added, now completing the equipment that was planned for the area.
The open recreation ground is available for you to enjoy, to picnic or play games. You are asked to keep this area tidy for the enjoyment of others.
Improvements During this winter, we have improved the grounds by installing some ground drainage, added two benches, put in a gate to link the older and younger children playgrounds, and erected a shelter from the rain or sun. Let us know if you like the changes.
Tennis courts The tennis courts can be booked at the cost of £3.00 per hour per court weekdays and weekends. Bookings can be made by putting your name on the sheet to the side of the Parish Council office; your money should be put through the letterbox close to where the list is located.
